What would I say my photography style is? Ohh this is a tough one to answer. I’d say go to my IG account and galleries on my website to see if my style catches your eye and vibe. I feel like a shoot a few different ways and also depending on locations and light I cover a lot of different forms. I can let you know I’m drawn to emotion and real moments. But it’s hard to pick one word to describe my style. I’m a glass is half full kind of person so I tend to try to get my clients in their happy places instead of being ultra moody.

Will your images be edited? Heck yes they will be. I edit pretty true to life and a little on the warm side. I feel like it brings energy to your photos. They are all edited to suit my photography style. If there are any blemishes on your skin that I can see they are removed. I’m a big believer in love the body your in so if your looking for a photographer to liquify and distort your body shape I’m not your girl. I give lots of feedback and direction during the whole session. So you know that your rocking the session!

How many images will you receive in your gallery? For a couples/maternity/newborn/family session your looking around 80-100 edited images that will be delivered via online gallery. Wedding galleries are also put on a online gallery and you receive a custom usb as well. A good rule of thumb is 75-100 edited images per hour that I am with you on your wedding day. So a 10 hour wedding usually has anywhere from 900-1100 edited images in a full gallery.

What if we need to cancel/reschedule our shoot or wedding? We shoot all sessions unless it’s hurricane winds and crazy rain (even then I’ve shot fun sessions with couples in). Having unpredictable weather is just how it goes, it also makes for more fun original sessions. I do have a studio downtown Edmonton that we can use as a back up in case the weather turns nasty. Weddings if you’ve already put a retainer down on a date and need to reschedule the date we can move the retainer to a new date if I am available. The retainer is non-refundable. I’ve been able to successfully change dates in the past without issue.

Will you bring backup equipment? You betcha I will. I have a second camera body and multiple lenses that accompany me to every shoot and wedding. A ridiculous amount of sd cards to keep your images on as well so I never run out of photo options. My camera bodies also have duel slots which mean that for every image I take it is being duplicated on the second sd card so I have two backups of your oh so important memories.

Do I have to use the engagement session for my wedding? I want to be bossy and say yes haha. It’s such a good idea to do an engagement session not only because you get more photos. But also we get to meet and then I’m not a stranger on your wedding day coming in trying to make you comfortable. We already know one another and that does make people more relaxed. Also typically one of you if not both is uncomfortable for photos, so I get to walk you thru how relaxed and fun it can be. It’s not stuffy or fake we really do have a good time I’d say everyone always says they are so glad they had this ‘practice’ for the wedding photos. I would hate for you to be nervous about your wedding day photos and this is a perfect opportunity to get you comfortable. I get to see how your heights line up, how you fit together and are you comfortable with pda. Plus you get to have some one and one go out for dinner after since your all fancied up.
